The story behind Ellipsis Staffing Company is rooted in real life experience and a genuine passion for supporting families. Before founding the agency, Meghan spent several years working closely with a family, caring for their young twins. What began as a job quickly evolved into something more meaningful: a deep understanding of the trust, intuition, and compatibility required to build a successful relationship between a family and their caregiver.
Through that experience, Meghan saw firsthand how life changing the right fit can be for an entire household. She also realized that while exceptional childcare is often the foundation of a well supported home, families frequently need much more than that. From family assistants and personal assistants to housekeepers and household managers, having trusted support in place can create the structure, consistency, and peace of mind that allows a family to truly thrive.
That realization sparked the idea for Ellipsis Staffing: a boutique agency dedicated to taking the stress out of the hiring process and bringing heart, empathy, and precision to every placement. With a thoughtful, hands on approach, Meghan built Ellipsis to prioritize quality over quantity, focusing on long term matches that align with each family’s unique needs, values, and lifestyle.

At Ellipsis Staffing Company, we take pride in our thorough and tailored vetting process to ensure your family is matched with the ideal nanny.

We begin by defining the specific requirements of your position through a detailed consultation, ensuring we understand your unique preferences.

Our interviews are customized to align with your family’s needs, focusing on candidates who are fully qualified to meet your expectations.

Our comprehensive screening process includes:

- Reference verification
- Driving record assessments
- Additional screenings tailored to your preferences
4. Flexible and Personalized Approach
We understand every family is different, we leave no stone unturned, giving you peace of mind throughout the hiring journey.
What is your pricing?
Our transparent pricing ensures you know what to expect throughout the process:
- Application Fee: A non-refundable application fee of $500 is required to begin your search.
- Placement Fee: Placement fees start at $2,500 and vary based on the specific needs of your family, such as part-time, full-time, live-in, or travel nanny roles.
We are committed to providing a tailored, seamless experience to match your family with the ideal caregiver.
What is the Placement Policy?
We know things happen and changes occur. We provide each family a one year guarantee for each placement.
After the 2-4 week interview timeframe, a placement is provided and the family can agree to a 2 week trial with the candidate. If the candidate meets all requirements for the role, the family will provide a formal offer and Ellipsis will request the full placement fee at that time.
